Slippery Issues


We're in the middle of a Presidential election and it's important to talk about the issues, and all the slippery stuff that entails.

Which I'll get to.

Eventually.

But until that happens, let's visit with someone who doesn't talk about the slippery issues, but has some.

If I were his lawyer, I'd claim the "Doris Day beauty treatment defense". Didn't she used to do a similar slather before bed each night to slow the skin aging process?

That's more information about ol' Doris that I (or anyone) needs.

What's next? Are you going to regale us with stories of Howard Hughes's mason jars?

As a matter of fact, Howard used to fill mason jars with vaseline while watching reruns of Ice Station Zebra, eating Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup out of the can, and trimming his footlong toenails. This will be painstakingly recreated in the new movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
