ROFL

Is it possible to laugh harder than I did when I read this?
Swedish home furnishings giant IKEA is guilty of sex discrimination by showing only men putting together furniture in its instruction manuals, Norway's prime minister says.

IKEA, which has more than 200 stores in 32 nations, fears it might offend Muslims by depicting women assembling everything from cupboards to beds. Its manuals show only men or cartoon figures whose sex is unclear.

Swedish cartonn figures whose sex is unclear? You mean without umlauts?

We bought an Ikea bed once and the people who delivered it and assembled it for us seemed to be figures who's sex was unclear. If you stared at their crotches for a bit, it sort of looked like a half a grapefruit. Like Porky Pig, you know? Like "It's Pat!"

It was a "platform" bed. After "trying" to sleep on it, we decided it was a "piece of shit". So we got rid of it and got a "Sealy". Much better. But I'm still haunted by the memories of those sexless Swedish automatons who put the bed together. Yikes!
